Virender Sehwag scored a superb 151 to trash Aussie hopes of this Test. He proved the perfect anchor and stood tall and belted the Aussie pace battery all over the park. He looked in superb form along with Sachin Tendulkar.

Adam Gilchrist aka Gilly entered the field for his last Test match of his career. He was applauded by all as he made his last entry. Gilly will be fondly remembered for his soft nature and his aggressive batting. When asked by a radio station about him shaking hands with Indian skipper Anil Kumble he said "If this is considered soft on congratulating Kumble for his 600 wickets, yes I am a soft sportsman with ethics'' he retorted.

Adam Gilchrist aka Gilly aka Church as he is called is a complete family man. He made his debut in 1992 and has been vice-captain for both versions of the game. Here he is seen with his children as he bid adieu to Test cricket. He has assured that he would visit India soon and spend some time.

Gilly bids an emotional goodbye as he waves to the crowd to signal the end of his glittering Test career. He hailed India and said Anil Kumble and his teammates have confirmed their status as the second best team in the world. And yes he was full of praise for the young Ishant Sharma and termed him as Lethal and the man to watch out. Good bye Gilly and thank you for those wonderful moments.
