Raman Lamba, born January 2nd, 1960, died February 22nd 1998. He palyed for India, Ireland and Delhi, and was a right hand batsman who made 4 Test appearances, with a top score of 53.

He dies after being hit on the head during a club match in Bangladesh. He was not batting, but fielding at forward short leg. He wasn't wearing a helmet. He actually walked off the field, but then suffered an internal haemorrhage. By the time he got treatment, it was too late.
