Amitabh Bachchan is going all out to ensure that son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya have their share of privacy. And yet not be too far away. According to our source, Big B has acquired the bungalow next to Jalsa at Juhu, and is having it renovated.

This bungalow can be accessed only via Jalsa.

Our source said, “The plot next to Jalsa was previously owned by a gentleman called Satyen, who lived there with his joint family. When the family decided to sell the property, Amitabh Bachchan stepped in to buy it. He is currently doing up the interiors of the home for Abhishek and Ash. A trusted architect friend has been given the job. Bachchan had got the interiors of Pratiksha and Jalsa too, done by the same friend.”

The source added, “Bachchan bought the bungalow when the real estate rates were really low. Today, the price has spiralled to several crores of rupees. The front portion of the plot is still occupied by Citibank, while the rest belongs to the Bachchans.”

Although there is an additional entrance to the bungalow through a small gate next to Citibank, the main entrance is only via Jalsa. When contacted, a source close to the Bachchan family confirmed the story. “Yes, it's true that the plot next to Jalsa belongs to Amitabh Bachchan. He is currently renovating the place for Abhishek and Ash, so that the young couple can have complete privacy.”
