Mumbai is abuzz with rumours that the newlyweds – Sanjay Dutt and Manyata Dutt – are already expecting their first child.

Just yesterday, Sanjay Dutt pleasantly shocked the media and his friends by marrying his long time companion Manyata in a low-key, Hindu-ritual wedding in Mumbai.

And on Tuesday, Mumbai’s newspaper Mid-Day has carried a report claiming that Mrs. Dutt is in the family way.

The paper quotes sources as saying that the couple tied the knot hurriedly because they have another announcement to make soon.

In fact, the report claims that Dutt and Manyata first got married last year but they kept their wedlock a secret. Now, they have decided to make their marriage public through a formal ceremony because Manyata is expecting Dutt’s baby, according to the paper.

So far, there has been no response from Sanjay and Manyata to these reports.

But it is true that Sanju’s sudden marriage has taken many by surprise. Even his sister Priya Dutt was unaware that Sanjay had tied the knot with Manyata. She says she came to know about the marriage through media.
