Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi': to be directed By Adiya Chopra (director of DDLJ and Mohabbatein...writer of Veer-Zarra)

A spokesman for Yash Raj Films (YRF) production announced on 2nd Feb 2008 that the banner will produce a new film starring Shah Rukh Khan, confirming earlier media reports.

The film titled Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi will be written and directed by Aditya Chopra and will introduce a yet to be identified newcomer as the female lead.

Chopra, who is currently readying the final draft, will start pre-production in March to commence the shooting in mid-May-early June. (May 15th according to media reports)

The film, to be shot in Greece, Australia and Dubai is expected to release by the end of 2008. (December 12)
